Our mission

Therapy Fund Art was created in 2020 by Emily R.G. Jessen at the behest of her therapist. She was encouraged to find an activity that would allow for more catharsis for her healing work. Emily started with hand painting little wooden circles. She turned those into earrings and after sharing them on social media found herself taking orders.

The work that Therapy Fund Art has made possible has been incredible. Emily now coaches multiple domestic violence survivors as well as entrepreneur's ready to take a risk on their dreams.

Also a Teaching Artist at MAXtivity creative space in Philomath, Oregon where she teaches youth and adults art, jewerly, and small business development classes.

Her goal is to hold space and bring to the public the value for art as a form of therapeutic recovery work for people who are survivors of domestic violence.

Therapy Fund Art's purpose is to serve as an example to other survivors, who having once stuffed their dreams and silenced their voices for too long, can learn to find themselves again through creative expression. She knows what it is like believe that no one wants to know the creative part of herself and her goal is to teach all people who she crosses paths with that they, too, are Brilliant Creators.

We want to know. We want to see it. Let your light shine, let your voice be heard, let your laughter ring through the rafters. Now is the time, so let's see what you can do.
